Jessica Simpson wanted to "puke" when she took to the Paris catwalk for her new TV show.

The 29-year-old presents The Price of Beauty, a programme which investigates the lengths women the world over go to to look attractive. It was a concept Jessica felt a great affinity with as she has been publicly criticised for her weight in recent years, although she now insists she is happy with her figure.

As part of the programme Jessica walked in a runway show in the fashion capital Paris, an experience she admits terrified her.

"I faced a lot of fears throughout the show, and one of my fears was to walk a runway, to be a runway model. I mean, come on. I'm 5'3', and I eat my burgers every now and then, so I'm not a six-foot model who is so skinny you could touch them and they fall over, you know? I'm a totally different body shape," she said in an interview with PopEater.com. "So, I was intimidated as heck to get out there, and I knew that there were gonna be photographers out there, and I knew that I was going to experience some sort of scrutiny. People had their things to say, and I knew it and I was shaking, and it was a very vulnerable moment for me, but I did face the fear. But it is something that I'll never do again. I was about to puke."

Jessica is open about her beauty regime, revealing she loves experimenting with new lotions and potions. She recently posted a picture of herself in a La Mer face mask on social networking website Twitter, and although people joked about it she insists she has no regrets.

"That's funny! I had press to do that day. I had a photo shoot or something, and I love that La Mer mask. I love La Mer products. So, I was just laying in bed, and had the mask on, and decided I'd show people. Why not," she laughed.
