The host of New Zealand's Next Top Model believes the second cycle of the show will be just as popular as the first.
Sara Tetro is looking forward to the new season, which will begin airing on TV3 on Friday, 6 August.
"It's going to be a really good show. I'm really excited about it.
"I love it when people come up to me and say, 'This one's my favourite or that one's my favourite'.
"People all have a different reason for who they like and I really enjoy hearing what those reasons are."
The first episode of the series will feature the top 33 contestants modelling in iconic Wellington locations to try and win a spot in the final 13.
Photoshoots took place on the Wellington waterfront, and at the stunning Boomrock Lodge, 30 minutes from Wellington.
The host and judge was hesitant to give away too many details about the new season, but she did say that everyone auditioning for the show was asked to come with an up-to-date passport.
She also confirmed that several boys auditioned for the show this year, but was tight-lipped about whether any made it to the final 33.
Tetro admits that when she first began filming Top Model she was unsure exactly what she was doing.
"Last year in the same position I was in now I wasn't really sure what I was getting myself into. It was a learning process as I went. Now I understand exactly what's ahead, although I can't predict it."
Even though she is a judge as well as host on the hit show, Tetro insists people should not be intimidated by her if they meet her on the street.
"I'm really not very scary, honestly. I'm really very nice.
"I don't judge my friends and I don't judge people when I'm walking around so don't come up to me and think 'I shouldn't be wearing this'."
