More claims about PM's man and doco funding Excuse me, I was just wondering ... Henry has dig at new employers

There were precious few fashion disasters as the stars walked the red carpet to begin the 60th annual Emmy Awards.

There was nothing desperate about Desperate Houswives star Marcia Cross. She looked like every little girl’s dream in a beautiful ballerina-inspired dress by Ellie Saab.

Her co-star Nicollette Sheridan opted for a purple strapless floor-length gown.

Dexter’s Julie Benz looked divine in a deep purple dress with beaded sash.

Kristin Chenoweth (from Pushing Daisies) said she hadn’t eaten and didn’t plan to eat the rest of the day to make sure she still fitted into her Armani gown.

Lisa Edelstein from House described the red carpet as a "celebrity cattle drive" - she looked lovely in a strapless black and white dress.

So far no fashion flops - where’s Bai Ling when you need her?

The show was fun, the dresses were varied and delightful. However, who was the fuzz haired, orthopedic shoe wearing woman with the flashing too too white legs. What gave her the right to be so critical. I wonder, did she think to look in the mirror before leaving home? Talk about a fashion mistake, bordering on matronly, no she was way past bordering, she was right on absurd......strange isn't it that the two sitting on the left, while almost a joke themselves, voicing the strongest rude opinions were also the least professional. Please in the future at least have all of your group be at least a bit classy.

Is it just me, or does the girl from Pushing daisy have a vein the size of the Waikato river popping out of her forehead??? the caption said she wasn't going to eat until she fit it... I think fitting the dress should have been her last concern... Next time, eat a pie and you wont look like the bride of Frankenstein.

Eva Longoria looked overdone as usual - the dress just didn't fit around the bust area and the hair is never natural looking - which is a shame as she has lovely hair. LOVE Heidi Klum's grey number and when will the celebs learn that people don;t want to see boring black - still a few playing it way too safe...
