The hit series Game of Thrones will make its free-to-air debut next month, though some of the sex and violence scenes may be cut.
The award-winning fantasy series, which has been available on Sky's premium subscription channel Soho, is set to air on Prime from September 5.
Due to the explicit nature and content, Prime would carefully edit episodes to comply with the Broadcasting Standards Authority, mindful to ensure story lines remain intact, a SkyTV spokeswoman said.
The series is based on the bestselling books by George R.R. Martin, an epic drama set in the world of Westeros, where ambitious men and women live in a land whose summer and winters can last for decades.
It's a savage place full of incest, murders and much plotting between the clans.
The series, which second season has finished screening in June on Soho, was a breakout hit from the start, earning an Emmy and a Golden Globe for its star Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister.
It also stars Lena Headey, Kit Harington, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Michelle Fairley and Emilia Clarke.
For those over 18 who don't want to miss out, The Huffington Post has watched the more than 20 hours of footage and put together a video with every juicy bit from the two seasons. (Not safe for work).
