Kim Catrall 'ached' after dress fittings

Kim Catrall says her body used to hurt after trying on her Sex and the City costumes because the fittings took so long.
The actress plays maneater Samantha Jones in the American television show, which has been made into two feature films.
The programme is famed for the outfits worn by Kim and her co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, and has been behind some of the biggest trends in recent years.
Stylist Patricia Field worked hard to give each of the female characters their own unique style, and Kim admits she often posed a problem for her.
"That was always an option, to say no, and sometimes I would say to Pat, 'Look, this doesn't feel right, I have to do this in this scene and this outfit doesn't facilitate that,' and she would always be open to that," Kim explained.
"Sometimes the fittings would be eight hours long and your whole body would ache from having clothes pulled on and off. I'm not a sample size like Sarah and Kristin and I couldn't wear a lot of the clothes the young designers would send us. I'd wear a lot of vintage - some of things I wore were like pieces of art."
Samantha usually dons figure-hugging dresses in bright colours, while Kristen's character Charlotte York Goldenblatt opts for prim, flowing dresses and full skirts.
Miranda Hobbes, portrayed by Cynthia, has a casual wardrobe with some sexy dresses included for eveningwear, while Sarah Jessica's part as Carrie Bradshaw saw her getting to wear a number of fashion-forward looks.
Although Samantha wasn't the most on-trend of the bunch, Kim insists she never wished she was wearing one of the other's outfits.
"I was never into any of Charlotte's sweet dresses or Sarah's outfits - there were a few pieces of Sarah's that I liked on their own but not the outfits as such," she told vogue.co.uk.
"The thing about Patricia was that she knew the actresses' body types very well."
