Miss Australia's body of good work

Miss Universe Australia Jesinta Campbell has put her tiara where her mouth is and wasted no time keeping her promise of using her new found fame to help charities.
Fresh from the Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas the model's first public event saw her lend her body to the Cancer Council for the launch of Girl's Night In to raise awareness of women's cancers.
Campbell walked the catwalk in a full piece body suit donning abstract artwork on the areas affected by women's cancers - including breast, cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal and vulva cancer.
"Sometimes it takes something drastic to raise awareness but it's something that I'm passionate about and we need to raise more awareness about women's cancers," Campbell told AAP after the launch in Sydney on Tuesday.
With one in seven Australian women affected by cancer, Campbell and her family have not been spared by the heartache the disease causes.
"Being involved in this campaign is really close to my heart," she said.
"My grandma had a cervical cancer scare and was actually operated on the night of the Miss Universe Australia competition in June."
Campbell says her grandma is now healthy and happy but the scare made her realise why events like Girls Night In are so important to raise awareness.
"It can happen to anyone we are all the same on the inside and we do need to go and have regular check ups, it's OK to do that and it's not something we should be embarrassed about, the cure is in the prevention," she said.
Campbell has teamed up with other celebrity ambassadors singer Danielle Spencer, Masterchef Juniors' Anna Gare, Faustina 'Fuzzy' Agolley and comedian Fiona O'Loughlin for the Girl's Night In campaign.
The initiative will see more than 200,000 women get together at Girls Night In events across the country and pool the money they would have spent on a big night out into charity.
Campbell will be killing two birds with the one stone on her Girl's Night In this month, using the event to catch up with her girlfriends on the Gold Coast for the first time since being overseas for the Miss Universe competition.
"It'll be a pink theme and we'll be watching Sex and The City with chocolates and pink cupcakes," Campbell laughs.
