When British chatshow host Graham Norton has a glass of wine on TV, two Kiwi winemakers smile.
Norton's show screens here on Friday nights and the comedian drinks nothing but Invivo Marlborough sauvignon blanc on set.
If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for his guests, who all imbibe before they appear, and leave with it as a gift.
Next week, there will be a couple of extra guests backstage as Invivo winemaker Rob Cameron and business partner Tim Lightbourne take up an invitation to meet Norton, and watch the show being recorded.
The pair will get to rub shoulders with US rapper Snoop Dogg, Australian actor Geoffrey Rush, model Elle Macpherson and singer Cee-Lo Green.
"We'll be in the audience and then hopefully I'll get a pic with Snoop or Graham," Lightbourne said. Supplying the show came about after Norton said in an interview how much he liked Invivo's sav.
Cameron and Lightbourne sent some and told the show's production company they were keen to become official suppliers.
Invivo has been marketing wine in the UK for two years and Lightbourne will also hold a series of tastings for leading department store chain Harvey Nichols.
