French fashionistas' wake-up call
Wake me up before you go-go - because French fashion has just gone back to the 80s.
Emmanuelle Alt, the hip new editor of French Vogue, leads a lineup of gorgeous Gallic beauties in a lipsynching rendition of Wham!'s 1984 hit song.
Alt, who is about as far removed as you can get from Anna 'Nuclear' Wintour, the famously frosty editor of American Vogue, leaps about the stage in an effortlessly chic ensemble of white jeans and white T-shirt emblazoned with 'Vogue.Fr' - the magazine's new website.
Don't fret if white's not your colour - Alt later appears in a coral sweatshirt, skinny jeans and canary yellow fingerless gloves. A look best saved for the streets of Paris, perhaps?
