Front-row seat to #roofbreakup

An American comedian found himself with a front row seat to his neighbour's messy break up - and so he live tweeted it. Naturally.

The drama kicked off as Kyle Ayers was kicking back and relaxing on his Brooklyn rooftop.

A couple is breaking up on my roof right now. I was just trying to enjoy the view. Now I will live tweet the breakup. #roofbreakup

So instead of leaving the couple to their misery, Ayers shared their tale of unhappy love with the world. Little did he know the whole sordid tale would go explode into an internet sensation, hitting headlines around the world and spawning at least one video reenactment (scroll down to view)
