Jessica Alba snacks on berries to help maintain her slender figure.
The stunning actress - who has worked hard to regain her pre-pregnancy figure after giving birth to her daughter, Honor, 10 months ago - is so determined not to eat naughty treats she makes sure she always has a healthy alternative to hand in case she gets the urge to snack.
Her personal nutritionist Ramona Braganza said: "People need to mix protein with fibre for the ultimate healthy snack. By combining these two food groups, you'll feel fuller for longer and won't feel the need to reach for sugary snacks. Have a small cube of low-fat cheese with an apple, or walnuts with a pear.
"When Jessica heads to the beach or goes on a picnic, she packs antioxidant-rich berries to snack on."
Braganza - whose clients also include Kate Beckinsale and Anne Hathaway - also advises stars to eat within 30 minutes of working out.
She said: "As well as being at the peak of their metabolism, this will ensure they build muscle and restore energy levels."
