Kelly Osbourne has defended her decision to dye her hair purple, insisting she doesn't care if it looks like a "grandma rinse".
The 25-year-old star is pleased with her light lavender hair tone, even though some critics have said it makes her look old. Kelly doesn't mind if other people don't like her new style, insisting she has wanted to change the colour of her locks for ages.
"Yes, I've dyed my hair lavender and I absolutely love it! I first got the idea during Dancing with the Stars last year, when it happened accidentally because too much blue toner was used when my roots were dyed," she revealed in her column for Closer magazine.
"I liked it but the show executives and my mum wouldn't let me keep it. Now, though, I've decided to give it another go. I know it's like a grandma rinse but it makes me feel more like me. I just don't think I suit looking completely normal all the time!"
The TV star is known for her obsession with changing her hair colour and style.
In recent years she has had long ginger curls, shocking pink tresses, a platinum Mohawk, a glossy black bowl cut and her latest blonde cropped style.
Soon after she had dyed her hair last week, she took to her Twitter account to reveal her excitement. "I just dyed my hair lavender again and i loooooove it! (sic)," she wrote.
