Kim Kardashian reportedly spends £6,000 (NZ$13,000) a month on beauty treatments.
The reality television star is often cited as one of Hollywood’s most glamorous women, but a friend has claimed her sleek image comes at a high price.
Kim always looks well groomed with her polished nails, radiant skin, and glossy mane, which she reportedly maintains by visiting a beauty parlour three times a week.
“She gets her nails done on her feet and hands three times a week, in addition to regular facials and body scrubs,” a source told British magazine More!
“Kim alternates between three salons in Beverly Hills close to her home. She spends up to £400 a visit on various treatments.”
The 29-year-old beauty shot to fame alongside her sisters Khloé and Kourtney on the reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She has since launched her own perfume, released a workout DVD and even co-designed a clothing range with her sisters.
It is estimated that she earned £3.5 million (NZ$7.7 million) last year, making her the highest earning reality star of 2009.
Kim argues that since she works so hard, she deserves to pamper herself with beauty treatments as a way of winding down.
“I do work a lot. But I definitely take time off when I need it. I love getting my nails done or having a facial to help me wind down,” she has said.
