Nicole Richie has admitted shaving her eyebrows at age 12 - and telling her mum they "fell off in the shower".
The fashion designer and former reality TV star shared the anecdote with the UK edition of Elle magazine.
"All I wanted to do when I was 12 was wax my eyebrows. My mother is Southern and very strict so she wasn't having any of it," Richie said.
"I shaved what I thought was just the middle, but when I looked in the mirror half my brows were gone!
"I don't know what she was more upset about: the fact that I did it, or the fact that I told her my eyebrows fell off in the shower."
