In my beauty bag: Silver Fern Leana de Bruin
Cold Power Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic and Silver Fern defender Leana de Bruin takes a holistic approach to beauty, health and fitness. She's shared her picks with us.
I use a lot of Dermalogica - their Age Reversal Eye Complex, Cleansing Gel and Cleansing Skin Wash, as all as the Multi Active Toner and the Dynamic Skin Recovery Moisturiser. I also like Clinique Pep Start Eye Cream.
My favourite sun protection is Murad Oil Free Sunscreen. I am far better at using it now than I ever was when I was younger. I use sunscreen most days all year round, and of course especially in summer, as I spend a lot of time outside.
I love facials. I go to Zinky Beauty Therapy in Cambridge and love the glycolic peel. I try and go once a month.

I try not to use too many products on my skin and aim to keep the ingredients as natural as possible.
I have always had a less-is-more philosophy and have always preferred a natural look. I love a tinted moisturiser, mascara and lip balm for day to day.
Define-A-Lash Waterproof Mascara by Maybelline is great, as is Bare Minerals Tinted Moisturiser. I find L'Oreal lip glosses really good, I always keep one in my bag.
I love to wear makeup on the weekends, especially when it's not netball season because it's the only time I don't have to be in training mode.
Being blonde, I love Schwarzkopf Blonde and Bright Shampoo and Conditioner or Fudge Purple Shampoo.
I go to Hair with Ease in Hamilton, Nicola Hennesey has been my stylist for ages and nails my blonde how I like it.
I colour my hair every six to eight weeks. I have treatments regularly because of all the training I do and seem to have to wash my hair and straighten it quite often, so I keep it healthy with treatments in between colours.
Schwarzkopf Gel on game day is a must!
For hot tools I just use a straightener, I'm useless with curling, wish I could do it.
I have got a gel manicure machine so I DIY most of the time but it is really nice to have someone else do it.
For colours I definitely keep it natural and not too bright.
I think nail art looks really cool on other people but funny on me.
FRAGRANCE & BODY
I kind of like to mix it up a bit with perfumes but my two favourites are Coco Mademoiselle and Issey Miyake.
I use to like Cool Waters and Bvlgari and the good old CK One.
I use Sukin Hydrating Body Lotion or Sukin Moisture Rich Body Crème. I love the smell and the way they leave my skin.
I love a bath every so often but don't actually have a bath in the house at the moment - it is a must have for my next house.
My treat is my facial once a month.
As well as my less-is-more philosophy, I also have a holistic approach to beauty and health going hand in hand. I eat well (lots of protein) during the netball season. I love doing pilates when I can and spend lots of time in the pool.
A nap during the day, even 10 minutes, does wonders to keep me going. I love spending all the time I can with my son Caleb and am sure it gives me a glow!
I find shopping for new beauty products overwhelming because there are so many options. It's fantastic having teammates that love beauty products and shopping so I tag along with them to keep up with the latest.
A beauty mistake from years past would be putting too much foundation on thinking it will hide wrinkles. It actually just makes them look worse.
That's my pet hate as well - too much foundation, especially when it's not the right colour. Or too much fake tan.
If I could invent a beauty product, it would be a face cream that does exactly what botox does.
