OUR KIND OF WOMAN: Makeup free weekends and supermarket beauty buys, we can definitely identify with Charlotte Devereux's beauty bag.

The always polished Charlotte Devereux launched Egg maternity to inject some glamour into a once-neglected fashion market. We found out which beauty products get her looking so gorgeous.

"I have to be honest I am a bit of a supermarket girl when it comes to some of my skincare products as I use Olay Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher at night followed by the Micro-Sculpting Cream.

If my skin is a bit dehydrated I use our EGG Essential Care Rosehip Oil. In the morning I will wash my face with Dermalogica face wash and always use their Eye Cream.

When I have a special event or just want to give my skin that extra glow my miracle in a pot is Glamglow Youth Mud. It is a face mask that exfoliates when you take it off, plus it smells divine.

I always use Great Barrier Bee Company Sunscreen, plus their lip balm is amazing! On my face if I am out in the sun I use Invisible Zinc Tinted Daywear.

I do mix it up a bit and love trying new facials. For me it is more about the relaxation.

I have just started having green smoothies in the morning and am leaning towards a more Paleo style of eating, which I have noticed makes a difference to my skin. I'm so inspired by Pete Evans Cookbook - Healthy Every Day."

"I got interested in makeup at about age three - dressing up with my mother. But I wasn't seriously interested until my 30s when I started to experiment and wear eye makeup. Maybe that comes with confidence and age plus the girls showing me at the MAC counter!

I adore L'Oreal Lumi Magique Light Infusing Foundation, dusted with MAC Mineralize Powder and their shimmer blush is amazing too!

Smashbox have a gorgeous palette of colours - I love eyeliner, lashings of mascara and a smoky eye for evening.
I usually have a makeup-free day on Saturday or Sunday depending on what is happening in our household."

Kerastase products work well for me and I always use L'Oreal Mythic Oil before styling my hair. In summer I tend to let my hair dry naturally and go for a more natural beachy, curl and in winter the curl is more controlled with my GHDs.

Vladimir is a genius with hair and has the most beautiful at-home salon [in Auckland], which makes for a gorgeous and relaxing atmosphere.

I get highlights three times a year and do regular hair masks by Kerastase.

I have just started using Rimmel Salon Pro nail polish - so easy to paint, which will make for more at-home manis.

I have been popping into mall manicure places for convenience, however after a few too many bad experiences it is time to go to a professional.

I am quite partial to a dark nail however my hands are not the most elegant so I am going for more nude colours.

I adore Marc Jacobs Daisy and use Matakana Valley Lime and Olive Body Oil.

For baths I love candles and EGG Essential Care Tangerine & Lavender bath and body oil.

I love doing yoga and it is like an instant facelift. I just need to do it more!

My beauty philosophy is to smile and be happy as it shines from within. When it comes to discovering cult beauty products, I look on Pinterest. The one product I can't live without is my EGG Essential Care Mama & Bebe Balm. I use it for everything from dry lips to cuticles.

My best beauty quick fix is Glamglow Youth Mud. A beauty mistake from my past is Sun In hair spray that bleached my hair and then turned orange - not a good look!
