Gisele goes makeup free in new campaign

BAREFACED BEAUTY: Gisele Bundchen keeps it natural in yet another fall-winter 2014 campaign, this time for Sonia Rykiel.

Gisele Bundchen, gorgeous supermodel who never ages, has pulled the ultimate cosmetic humble brag - going makeup-free in her latest campaign for Sonia Rykiel.

Gisele goes untouched by mortal brush in the black-and-white shoot lensed by Juergen Teller and styled by LOVE Magazine's Katie Grand.

It comes as no surprise that she looks pretty damn perfect without makeup on - she is the world's top-earning model after all.

The 34-year-old has posed au naturel in publications like Porter, Self Service and Vogue Italia, but more often than not, we're used to seeing her all made up and in bombshell mode.

For her latest shots, the stylist took her cue from pictures of the label's founder, Sonia Rykiel, in the '70s. (Here's the bare-faced, freckled-tinged beauty posing for Warhol).

"They were very elegant black-and-white snapshots of her in the studio and on a car, and reminded me of Juergen Teller's work. Once Juergen had agreed to work with us, we wanted to work with a woman with Madame Rykiel's joie de vivre, and the obvious choice was Gisele," she said.

Yes, it may be easy to go sans face paint when you're a genetically blessed Brazilian goddess, but it's refreshing to see nonetheless.

When makeup is an industry norm, presenting your model without it feels somewhat like a statement.
