She has the world's greatest hairdressers at her disposal, but model Miranda Kerr has revealed that she relies on a DIY treatment to keep her hair looking good.
Kerr told Elle France that she uses olive oil and lemon juice on her hair weekly boost shine.
"Minimum once a week, I mix both and I leave the mixture on as long as possible. This is a homemade recipe that my mum taught me and I still haven't found a better one to repair my hair after the shows."
The Victoria's Secret model said her mother and grandmother are her best sources of health and beauty advice.
"My grandma: she is and has still been a natural beauty. When she smiles, she brightens the room. And for good advice, my mum taught me to smile as much as I can. It's an easy tip that can change your silhouette," she said.
Kerr, who juggles modelling work with being mother of baby son Flynn, told the magazine she relied on a handful of more conventional beauty products to enhance her naturally good looks.
"A tinted cream, a touch of chocolate pink lip balm on the lips and the cheekbones - such as Lip2Cheek Rapture from RMS - and some mascara, like L'Extreme de Lancôme. For the red carpet, bold red lipstick is always good," she said.
