Actress Antonia Prebble lets us in on her beauty secrets.

I normally have two types of sunscreen (for face and body), lip balm and sometimes lip gloss.

I'm relaxed about which brand of sunscreen I use for my body, at the moment I've got a Cancer Society one, but I'll generally just grab whatever is on special at the supermarket.

For my face though I always use Dermalogica Solar Defense Booster. It's really good for your skin and is non-greasy, so you don't have to worry about looking like you've been in an oil slick if you want to look after your skin. It's also really good both under and over makeup.

For lip balm I also rotate through brands. I really like Trilogy Rosehip Oil Lip Balm, and Lucas' Papaw Ointment, but at the moment I'm using a Cancer Society one because of the SPF.

The lip gloss I love is the M.A.C Lip Conditioner range. I don't normally wear makeup if I'm not working, but these give a nice, subtle burst of colour if I'm feeling in the mood.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil is my all-time favourite. I've been using it as a night cream for years and I swear by it, my skin always feels really hydrated and dewy after I use it, and I really miss it if I don't.

I also love Sebastian 2+1 Shampoo and Conditioner. Until I tried this I thought the shampoo industry was a total sham, as nothing seemed to make my hair either better or worse. But these products actually made my hair softer and less frizzy, so I am now a believer!

I also love Moroccan Hair Oil and Osis Grip Style Mousse. I hadn't used mousse for years, thinking it was a thing of the 80s, but it does such amazing things. It gives great height and volume and, if you use it properly, doesn't make your hair crunchy like hairspray can.

On the make-up front, I love the Inika make-up range. They have incredible products, and I particularly like their mineral foundation. It is so quick and easy to apply and feels really light, like you've hardly got make-up on at all.

A little useful tip for applying mascara is to first apply in the normal way, holding the brush horizontally to your eyelashes. Then, turn it so it is vertical to them, and give them another coat. Doing it this way means you can get right into the corners of your eyes and it plumps them up really well.
