Do you hate makeup, or looking like you're wearing lots of it? It's about time you tried the 'no makeup' makeup look. This is how you can look like you have flawless skin without looking like you're wearing makeup at all.

HOW TO DO BARELY THERE MAKEUP

1. SKIN

Give a smidgen of light cover to your skin with a tinted moisturiser or BB cream. Choose a tinted moisturiser with added SPF, or apply sunscreen beforehand. BB Creams (the BB stands for beauty balm) have built-in SPF, skincare and light foundation coverage for fast and easy application.

TRY: L'Oreal Revitalif Total Repair BB Cream with SPF 15+, $39.99; The Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream, $39; Dr. Hauschka Toned Day Cream Tinted Moisturiser (Jessica Alba is a fan), $73.

2. SPOTS

Use concealer only where needed - in blemishes, any areas that are prone to redness and under the eyes. Blend well with fingers or a concealer brush.

TRY: Dr Hauschka Pure Care Cover Stick, $39; Australis Concealer, $15; The Body Shop Concealer, $23.

3. EYES

Apply a wash of the lightest nude brown shadow to your eyelids and blend with a brush to soften any harsh edges. This will give your eyelids a smooth and even tone and make your eyes pop. For ultra lonwearnig styles that won't crease try a cream eyeshadow. It dries fast, lasts all day and won't budge.

TRY: Maybelline Eye Studio Colour Tattoo, $13.99; M.A.C Paint Pot in Groundwork, $44; or Bobbi Brown Longwear Cream Eyeshadow in Cement, $57.

4. BROWS

Fill in your brows with a brow pencil or eyeshadow a couple of shades darker than your natural brows. If using a pencil, draw quick and tiny strokes through the brow, and finish off by blending with a brow brush for a full and natural look. Try Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil and Brush, $18.99; or Natio Define Eyebrow Pencil, $17.50.

5. CHEEKS

Sweep a touch of blush across the apples of your cheeks for a healthy glow.

TRY: Napoleon Mosaic Blusher in Flushing, $68, Inika Mineral Blush $44.99; or for a soft cream option try Jane Iredale Cream Blush, $51.

6. LIPS

Finish off with a touch of tinted lip balm to moisturise, add shine and bring out your natural lip hue.

TRY: Burts Bees Tinted Lip Balm, $22; Clinique Chubby Stick, $44 each or mix and match for three for $99; Nivea Soft Rose Tinted Lip Balm, $4.19.

How much makeup do you wear?

Just the basics: moisturiser, mascara, lippy.

The works: foundation, concealer, highlighter, bronzer - there's no room to list it all.

Nothing - what's the point?
