Women spend huge sums anti-ageing skincare and treatments, yet the single most effective way to ward of signs of ageing is to wear sunscreen. It may seem like a blindingly simple answer, but too many of us find wearing sunscreen every day a chore.

The plethora of greasy products on the market makes it hard to pick a sunscreen that can be worn under makeup, and many women complain that they simply don't have time in the mornings to add another skincare step. But we've found some great skin savers we think you'll love.

L'Oreal Revitalift Total Repair 10 BB Cream SPF15, $39.99: The perfect product for time-poor people, L'Oreal's BB Cream combines a light foundation, sunscreen, and anti-aging skincare into one. A great price for such a hard-working product, it's available in two shades - light and medium. Can be worn alone or as a primer underneath your usual makeup.

Dermalogica Sheer Tint SPF20, $95: A very sheer tint foundation for fans of lightweight and natural makeup, Sheer Tint contains natural mineral iron oxides and light-diffusing properties to even out the skin tone and give a dewy and luminous finish to the skin.

The Body Shop Moisture Foundation SPF15, $40: If you're after a little more coverage than a tinted moisturiser, this is a great option. It's still lightweight enough for summer, but can be layered up for those days you need more coverage. It leaves the skin with a healthy dewy finish and keeps it hydrated for up to 24 hours.

Aveeno Smart Essentials Daily Nourishing Moisturiser SPF30, $19.99:
Get your UV coverage without the greasy feeling with this moisturiser with built-in SPF. It's incredibly lightweight, non-greasy, and soaks quickly into the skin. Makeup smoothes easily on top and it also smells wonderful.

Antipodes Immortal Sunscreen SPF15, $49.50:
This completely natural sunscreen uses the mineral Solaveil - a zinc-based compound - and organic raspberry seed oil, known for its natural UVA sun-filtration. Its UV protection levels have been clinically tested and certified, without having to use the petrochemical ingredients that most sunscreens contain. A wonderfully safe natural option, great for babies and children.

Coola Peppermint Vanilla Liplux SPF15, $17.50: Another natural product, Coola Liplux is made of 70 per cent certified organic ingredients with an all-natural base. Contains aloe vera and jojoba oils for hydration, and raspberry, shea and avocado butters to protect the skin and repair existing sun damage. A great product for your handbag, it adds a soft shine to the lips and also smells great.

TOP TIPS
Speed up your morning beauty routine by doing your hair after you've applied your sunscreen. By the time your hair is finished your skin will have absorbed the product and you'll be ready for your foundation.

When using tinted moisturisers, always apply concealer afterwards. Tinted moisturisers are often slightly heavier in weight than usual foundations, and concealer can shift about on your skin as your blend tinted product in.

Buy up travel-sized sunscreen products to keep in your car, handbag and in the kids' schoolbags so you've always got some on hand.

Sunscreen is not just for days when sun is out. Sun damage can occur even when the weather is overcast so it's imperative you wear it every day.

How much makeup do you wear?

Just the basics: moisturiser, mascara, lippy.

The works: foundation, concealer, highlighter, bronzer - there's no room to list it all.

Nothing - what's the point?
