BB creams get bigger and better
With BB creams now part of our daily beauty conversations, a new range of 'improved' versions have hit the shelves.
L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Luminosity BB Cream, $29.99
L'Oreal's Youth Code range is pushing the anti-ageing properties of your usual BB Cream to the limits with this powerful punch of ingredients to hydrate, target pigmentation and improve skin texture. It also has illuminating qualities to reflect the light and make skin look more radiant. With the usual SPF 15 and lightweight coverage it's great for those with ageing or pigmentation issues.
Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Sensitive, $17.49
The first BB Cream targeted specifically at sensitive skin, this is a hypoallergenic, fragrance-free formula with a bonus 24-hour hydrating properties. With a higher SPF than usual (SPF25), it's perfect for sensitive, burnt-prone or pale skin.
Innoxa Skin Perfecting Foundation 5 in 1 BB Cream, $29.95
Another BB Cream with a focus on anti-ageing, this product boasts a plethora of natural additives to boost skin health. With green tea, chamomile, liquorice and pomegranate extract, it works to reduce redness, soothe irritated skin, repair and brighten.
Designer Brands BB Crème 5 in 1 Benefits, $16.99
Another product promising 5 in 1, this is a great buy for its price. With Q10, antioxidants, peptides, vitamins C and E, Aloe Vera and Allantoin to soothe and nourish, it's about as much anti-ageing goodness as you'll get in any pricey product - except this one's only $17.
Jane Iredale Glow Time BB Cream, $99
This BB Cream is all about the glow. It not only has an instant brightening effect, it also has grapefruit extract that works to improve the skin's natural luminosity long term. It has an SPF of 25 and is water resistant for up to 40 minutes, so it's OK if you're caught in a rain shower.
