There's a lot to love about Skinfood's Cleans All cleanser. It's New Zealand-made from natural ingredients, it's paraben-free, it smells nice and it works. It's incredibly reasonably priced and - this is extremely important if your days of browsing the beauty counters are long gone - you can even buy it at the supermarket.

I've been a fan of this cleanser ever since I snatched it from the shelves of my local Pak 'N Save a year ago. My wimpy, sensitive skin reacts badly to foaming, detergent-like cleansers and the benign-looking green and white tube seemed like the most gentle option.

Since then I've occasionally flirted with other, pricier, cleansers, but this is the one I come back to. Cleans All works much like an old-fashioned cold cream. Rub a pea-sized amount over your face, then gently wipe it off with a facecloth and you're left with skin that feels clean but not stripped bare. It's no match for the tar-like qualities of waterproof mascara, but it dissolves other long-lasting makeup easily.

Sure, it's not as fancy as some brands but at $12.99 a tube, it's excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
