PREP FACTOR I pushed my cuticles back with the nail tools provided in the kit and gave them a light file to give the polish a slightly rough surface to adhere to.

OUR EXPERIENCE While I didn't have high expectations for this little kit I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use and how long the polish lasted on my nails. The only real down side is that you can only cure one nail at a time but there is no base coat or top coat needed with this kit so that helps to reduce the total time. The LED light plugs into a USB port on your computer or laptop so can be used anywhere.

PAIN FACTOR None

PLEASURE FACTOR This kit will set you back a little more than the cost of one single professional gel manicure so it works out to be super cost effective.

OUR VERDICT I would totally recommend this kit for anyone who loves gel nails but doesn't want to shell out the money to get them professionally done. While the polish doesn't last as long as professional nails (it lasted around 10 days) it looked great and was super hard wearing. The kit is well priced and small enough to fit in your handbag.

BUT KEEP IN MIND There are only a limited number of polish colours available (16 in total) that work with this kit.

EXPECT TO PAY $69.99
