More readers' photos and pet stories
BY NICK BARNETTHere's an exceptionally cute lineup of readers' pet photos, just to brighten your Friday (and give you an alternative to the rather grim previous post). Send your pictures and stories to us by email or via the Four Legs Good Facebook page and we'll do our best to publish them.
First up: a perfect little west highland white terrier, named Ruby, who enlivens the world for owners Stephen and Eduardo; she doesn't clash at all with their fine sheets either!

And here is Abyssinian kitten Cairo, who looks as though all her senses are focused on something.

Do I get a hug? Looking like that, golden retriever Oska must get plenty from his family.

I speak Tabby, so I can inform you that Herc's expression may be freely translated as "feed me".

Owner Rowena says her long-haired cat Badger thinks he's a lion. King of the shrubbery, anyway.

Finally, Susan the Griffon and Mr Puggles the pug soak up some Wellington summer sun. Clearly, Mr Puggles finds it a tiring business, being a dog.

Awwwww they're all so cute! The little wee white terrier reminds me of a 'snowy' toy i used to have as a kid and I love the intent look on Herc's face *hee*
I used to know a little wire haired griffon called silk who was the most beautiful little thing! I really hope she's still alive and living it up with her adoring owner (who was at least 6ft and built and favoured army fatigues - with little wee Silk tucked under one arm - was the sweetest thing EVER!)
