How did they get so cute?

This is a true Friday feast for your eyes. Nobody can resist a baby, so here's a collection of reader pictures of their young pets that you absolutely have to scroll to the bottom to appreciate - that's right, all the way to the bottom.

These are just some of the pictures that Four Legs Good readers have emailed to us or placed on the wall of our Facebook page. Please feel welcome to send us your own favourite pictres and pet tales, and I'll do my best to put them on the blog.

First up: Genger boy Bam Bam helps his sister Little have a wash.

Bam Bam and Little

Bam Bam and Little were among a litter that Nicole and Jason fostered for the SPCA - but they couldn't bear to part with them, so adopted the pair.

Here is Schnauzer puppy Chuck Norris. Love his oversized paws!

Next up, another pair of impossibly cute kittens, Beverley's two-month-olds Mervin and Mitze.

It's not only dogs and cats that can be an explosion of cuteness in their early months. Here's a picture of Wonky, the rabbit who featured in last week's pictures blog, but this one's from when he was a youngster. According to 3000 crosswords I've done, a young rabbit is called a leveret. Have never checked this out, though.

Also unfeasibly cute is Belle, Clayton's Jack Russell terrier. That's a miniature tennis ball, by the way, which gives you a clue to Belle's tiny stature.

And finally, the bit you have to scroll for to get the full effect. This is Honey, modelling for the camera. Thanks, Jasper, for the photos.

Aww they are super cute, babies of any animal seem to be the cutest thing ever. Made me happy to look at them. I'm not allowed pets in my apartment but when I move out I intend to get 2 kittens and considering a puppy too :)

Actually a leveret is a baby hare and a baby rabbit is called a kit and Google will confirm that. Loved the pictures. Love your blog. Read it every day even though I don't have any pets at the moment.

I would have to say that baby GIANT PANDAs are not very cute. In fact it may be the only animal in the entire world where the fully grown adult is cuter than the baby.

Off topic, it would be good if http://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/local/upper-hutt-leader/3423943/Thieves-target-elderly-pet got some more exposure. thanks
