Pets with super cuteness powers
BY NICK BARNETTIt's another Furry Friday and again our Four Legs Good readers have come up with some stunning pet pictures, whether by emailing us or posting photos on the blog's Facebook page. Again, you'll have to scroll right to the bottom to appreciate all the furry goodness.
First up, reader Leon sent us this picture of his blue-eyed puss striking a Superman pose. Supercat, fighting for truth, justice, and another bowl of chow.

Here's six-month old retradoodle Wally, whose middle name is Mischief, according to owner Cheryl. We can sort of tell...

An endearing but sad picture next. This is Ginga, boxing himself in. Sadly, a few days after this photo was taken, Ginga was hit by a car and died. So here's a tribute from Four Legs Good to Ginga, gone but not forgotten. Thanks, Garry, for the photo.

Very few things are as enchanting as a Weimaraner's friendly face. Here's a glance from Nicky's dog Skye.

This next photo serves as a plea from an Upper Hutt cat owner, Rachael. Her cuddly part-Burmese Charlie went missing early this week around Clouston Park and she's obviously keen to get him back. If you've seen him, email the blog and we'll let Rachael know. UPDATE: Charlie has turned up on his doorstep. Bet it was a happy reunion.

Here's Poppy, posing with football. Poppy's owner, Liza, says her dog loves to romp around with a ball but as soon as the camera comes out, she halts and falls into this pose. Funny how some animals know what a camera is for!

Kerry sent this photographic record of her puppy Walter's first session of barking. "It went on for a couple of minutes and he appears to have barked himself out as that was two weeks ago and we haven't heard a peep since," says Kerry. Walter is a three-month-old Weshie - half Westie and half Shih Tzu.

A real awww photo next. Candice posted this photo of dogs Coffee and Jules. You might have to spend a moment staring at the picture to notice one of them...

Last, and no offence to anyone, but this is my favourite of the bunch. Kitten Smudge learns an obscure rule of pool - namely, if you can spot and retrieve a ball from the pocket, you get to play it again. More photos of Smudge here.

Remember to email us your favourite picture or post it on our Facebook page, and I'll do my best to publish it in the blog. Thanks to all who sent in pictures - if you haven't seen yours yet, rest assured I hope to use them all soon.

Thank you so much for running the photo of Charlie!
its now day 3, with no sign of him. a flier drop is planned for tonight, but we would love him to be home ready and waiting when we get home from work
I love furry fridays :-)
Seconding Rachael's post as Charlie is very much missed.
Don't give up hope on your missing charlie. Our neighbours' cat went missing in November and the owners got a call this week to say that he'd been stealing food at someone else's house about 5km away. He's back now as if nothing ever happened. Sorry to hear about the death of Ginga. Our ginger boy lost his life on the road too and I still miss him dearly.
My thoughts are with Charlie's family, I hope you find him safe and sound. Is very sad to hear about Ginga, my darling Bandit was hit by speeding boyracers. She is very much missed.
Beautiful photos, Smudge is best of the entire bunch I have to agree!
I hope Charlie is found soon too, Rachael. A few years ago my cat accidentally got locked in a neighbour's shed for seven days. She was a little skinny when she came out, but was otherwise fine. We asked the neighbours to check sheds, cupboards, etc, but these guys didn't. Luckily for us another neighbour saw Daisy in the shed window and had kept the flier I'd put in the letterbox.
RIP Ginga :(
Good news, Charlie was waiting on the doorstep when I got home. :-)
Reckon he was locked in somewhere.
So glad he's home. :-)

Too cute... but I have a question regarding the "retradoodle".
Why do people call them "retradoodle's? when there is no 'd' in retriever? I can understand labradoodle, but surely it should be "retraVoodle"?
