Reader Amy says the two cats, the only ones in their litter, are inseparable. "When Sooty was hit by a car aged one year and he was at the vet, Cinder would howl and cry and he became the most needy cat known to man, so we could not put Sooty down as we think Cinder might have died of heartache. So he had his hip replaced and we delayed our wedding another few years."
