Summer holiday in pictures

Last updated 10:42 08/01/2010

As promised, following is a visual representation of my New Year's camping trip - which mostly revolved around food (as you will see). By the way, the reason I'm not in any of these photos is because I took them... Enjoy!

See? I wasn't kidding when I said we ate like kings. If you have any great ideas for al fresco dining, please share.

Have a great weekend - see you on the other side.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm you're making me hungry for camping kai Jane...... Now I am sitting at my computer dreaming of wrapping potatoes in tinfoil and baking them in the fire, then slathering them with butter and sour cream........................... :( Lol

the pics are awesome tho. Have to say my fave is the first one. Colours are just brilliant.

Brilliant photos and that food looks divine - bit of a step up from camp cooking that I remember!

I should really point out that I had very little to do with the food - except for the eating part, I was definitely involved in that.

Looks like you had a great kiwi camping getaway - good stuff!

I like how you put shots of your family/friends doing some physical activity in between the shots of the yummy food. It's like you're saying we ate all this so the next day we did this to burn it off, we ate all this meat so the next day we climbed this mountain!

Yummm that does look like like some tasty eating indeed. We tend to go fishing (and when we catch one), wrap him in tinfoil with a couple of lemons and some dill and stick him either in the fire or on the barby, pretty dam yum. Cool photos you got anymore? So I assuming you will be camping again in the near future then huh??

Odd there are no faces in any of these pictures. Were you on a Witness Protection Program holiday or something?

You weren't kidding about eating well though.
