A white Bengal tigress, a gift from former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko to a zoo in Crimea, has given birth to four rare white cubs.

A Zoo official said it was very unusual for a tiger to produce four cubs as they normally give birth to just two, the Times of Malta reported.

One of the cubs was an albino and the other three had visible black stripes.

The tigress is named Tigryulya.
