There have been a number of absolutely adorable moments in the animal world this year, but this wee husky pup most definitely takes the cake for the cutest sound.

Three-week-old Alaskan malamute-Siberian husky Belka tries her best to join in on a howling session with her owner, but ends up sounding more like a tiny bird chirruping than any kind of dog.

In the video her Canadian owner attempts to encourage little Belka to open up her pipes by demonstrating a howl more befitting of a canine, and it's impossible to hold in a smile when the pup responds.

Lifting her snout to the sky, the fluffball lets loose with the most ferocious howl she can muster.

Remember baby Simba roaring at a completely oblivious beatle early on in The Lion King? We can't help but feel little Belka's howl would be just as ineffective!

Oh, and don't blame us if you feel the need to adopt one of these irresistable critters - we feel exactly the same.
