Best & Worst dressed: Guys Choice
THE GOOD: I love when Sandy B wears some colour, and this hot pink Roland Mouret mini sings on her - the fact that the fit is a little relaxed and she's paired it with plain black sandals with dark toes means she veers away from Barbie territory (see Chrissy T to see what I'm on about). PS: Love the snap of her with two of her most iconic co-stars, Keanu and Hugh. Keanu is in the moment. Bullock was given the 'Decade of Hotness' award on the night - much deserved.
THE GOOD: Going for a really dark mesh on the bondage-inspired corset detail means this David Koma dress is a win on Jessica Alba (if it was a beige-vomit skin coloured mesh as is so popular these days, this would be a fail). I'm not the biggest fan of those foot-widening Hugo Boss ankle-strap sandals (especially with nude toes), but overall this look is a win. Love the dark eyes with the light-pink lips.
THE GOOD: Rihanna picked up the 'Most Desirable Woman' golden antlers on the night, and she certainly lives up to the gong in this sleek midi dress - with her hair gorgeous and curly, and her makeup minimal, the 26-year-old singer lets her natural beauty shine through.
THE GREAT: The border on this leather wrap skirt reminds me of the worst-of-the-worst in '80s leather jackets, but who cares, as Olivia Munn looks fantastic in J. Mendel. This deep forest green colour sings on her, and the sporty silhouette of these separates suits Ms. Munn's style to a T.
THE FRESH: Roksanda Ilincic was the designer responsible for the Duchess of Cambridge's bright yellow dress, which Wills said made her look like a banana: aka, the fashion guru is not afraid of colour. And I love the peach and sky blue combo of Rosario Dawson's Ilincic look, and adore those pale-blue pumps. I'm not sure that the crop-top is the most flattering - I think it just needs to end a tiny bit higher to work, but overall brava to Dawson for taking a risk.
THE DIFFERENT: This metallic Gucci dress is a very unusual look for mini-dress-loving Cameron Diaz. At first I was concerned that the bunching of material around her hips and the rolled sleeves were adding up to an unflattering look, but overall I actually really like the relaxed vibe of this. Also, this colour - which reminds me of one of my favourite eyeshadows of all time, which was discontinued, sob - is really working on Ms. Diaz.
THE MEH: Of course Chrissy Teigen looks gorgeous here - I love her hair with a bit of wave - but I do find this Three Floor mini a little too Malibu Barbie. Maybe if she'd gone for one size up so it was more of a relaxed fit and a touch longer the look would overall ooze a little more class. Always happy to see anything in bright yellow, however (which, did you know, is the most fatiguing colour on the eye. Ouchies).
THE INTENSE: If I was going to 'dress' a figure skater for a Penny Dreadful-themed dance, or even perhaps a Dowager Countess homage on ice, this Emilio Pucci dress would be right on vision. Jaime King, being a former mega-model, can almost pull this off, but overall I just find the neckline a little heavy (and meshy) for this to be a win.
THE FINE: The woman who made the Blurred Lines video famous, and, equally, was made famous by the video, Emily Ratajkowski, wears pants and a top by Amanda Wakeley. Those trousers are a classic shape and super-classy. I feel very neutral on the top, however: I'm not a major fan of the fringing along the bust and because the trousers are so formal it does kind of look like she's just gotten home from work, taken her shirt off and is basically wearing her bra. PS: Fast fact - Emily's going to play Andie, Ben Affleck's mistress, in Gone Girl.
