DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME: Rita Ora's eyebrow-raising fishnet two-piece was a winner on the night... Pity it was for all the wrong reasons.

Normally, we find ourselves ohhing and ahhing over Rita Ora's cooler-than-we'll-ever-be sense of style, but this time that's most certainly not the case.

Over the weekend, the British singer achieved the impossible: she actually managed to look less classy than fellow attendee Miley Cyrus when she arrived at the Capital FM Summertime Ball in a whole lot of fishnet.

Rita's 80s inspired body stocking two-piece left little to the imagination, and came courtesy of controversial fashion label Moschino (in case you managed to miss the oh-so-chic branding all over Rita).

We get that Rita's a big fan of the boy pant waistband (a trend we can possibly get on board with if it's worn like this), but layered underneath what are essentially holey bike pants, it just isn't working.

Throw in the matching fishnet top (not dissimilar to the Zambesi jumper seen on Lorde in her Tennis Court video), and the look is more lady of the night than tomboy-chic.

Although the excessive gold accessories and I Dream of Jeannie hair did little to lift the look, her classic cat-eye liner and bold red lip were flawless as per usual.

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus - perennial hater of clothes - also chose the dreaded Moschino for this particular occasion, wearing her own custom made crop top, skirt and coat.

Horribly garish though it may be (and yes, those are multi-coloured pom-poms), at least she's not flashing her underwear... for once.
