It's pretty much cold hard fact that 28-year-old model and food blogger Chrissy Teigen is a babe.
The beautiful, half-Thai, half-Norwegian, American-born model featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue this year, and has also graced the glossy fronts of Italian Vogue, Esquire and Cosmopolitan (as well as starring in the controversial Air NZ safety video).
But, way back when one big clothing brand wasn't happy for her to model their clothes. Why? They deemed her too big (we suggest they get their eyes checked).
Teigen - who married soul singer John Legend last September - told DuJour magazine how fast-fashion brand Forever 21 gave her the boot:
"I actually was fired from a job," she said. "They booked me directly when I was much younger. I showed up on set and they asked me if they could take a photo. And they shoot that photo off to my agency, who then calls me as I'm sitting in the make-up chair, and they say, 'You need to leave right now. They just said that you are fat and you need to get your measurements taken.'"
Teigen finished off the discussion with Dujour about the incident with, "And I hate you, Forever 21. I hate you so much. Honestly, you're the worst."
In other news, Chrissy Teigen was apparently the inspiration behind this amazing new song by her hubby John Legend, which boasts a stunning Dove-ad-esque music video. Teigen guest stars in the clip, and so does Laverne 'She-Be-Babein' Cox: well worth a watch (and croon).
