11 hottest undie-selling celebs
CRISTIANO RONALDO: Love him or hate him, there's no denying Cristiano Ronaldo knows how to make the most of his, uh, assets. He's appeared naked on the cover of Spanish Vogue, been named the 'fittest man in the world' by Men's Health magazine and even has his own underwear label. Aptly named CR7 - seven being his shirt number - the brand recently launched its second collection with giant topless posters of the handsome Portugese footballer in seven major cities across the world... Because who doesn't want to be pleasantly distracted by a 10-metre high half-naked Ronaldo as they embark on their daily commute?!
SHAUN JOHNSON: When Bendon Man announced its sponsorship of the NZ Warriors we couldn't help but be excited - there really is nothing like a sportsman posing in his smalls after all - and the results certainly didn't disappoint. Behold halfback Shaun Johnson looking all staunch, yet perfectly coiffed, in this moody campaign shot. Fellow Warriors Manu Vatuvei and Sam Tompkins also give modelling a whirl, but Johnson takes the cake for us - what a natural.
DAVID BECKHAM: He might be retired from football, but it certainly doesn't look like David Beckham is letting his fitness regime slip if his latest modelling shots are anything to go by. The 39-year-old father of four recently launched his A/W '14 bodywear collection for global chain store H&M with a collection of ab-baring black and white images... Victoria Beckham is one lucky lady.
RAFAEL NADAL: When news of Rafael Nadal's underwear campaign first came to light many fans were said to be 'in shock' - apparently it was the last thing they expected due to his somewhat shy and reserved attitude. But if this image is anything to go by, Nadal isn't just an ace on the tennis court. Check out that piercing gaze - the guy certainly looks pretty comfortable in his undies.
MEGAN FOX: She's widely considered to be one of the most beautiful women in the world and with this sultry campaign for Emporio Armani, Megan Fox undoubtedly cemented that reputation.
JENNIFER HAWKINS: With multiple high-profile hosting roles, a footwear line, a range of tanning products and endless endorsements under her belt, former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins has become something of a fashion and lifestyle powerhouse in recent years. The 5 foot 11 Aussie blonde signed on as the ambassador for lingerie brand Lovable back in 2006, and with a new campaign released just last month she shows no signs of slowing.
KENDALL JENNER: Calvin Klein's latest Instagram campaign is all about having your undies on show, and when it comes to celeb support - noone grabbed more attention than reality show star Kendall Jenner. The 18-year-old shared this jeans-clad snap with her 12 million followers and before long the rumour-mill was rife with talk of a future campaign - we think she'd be the perfect fit.
KELLY BROOK: When it comes to appearing half-clad in men's mags and taking out top spots on 'sexiest' lists, few have more experience than 34-year-old actress and presenter Kelly Brook. After being cast as the face of Ultimo lingerie a few years back, the British beauty now produces her own underwear and swimwear lines for high street fashion brand New Look.
DAN CARTER: A year after he debuted for the All Blacks, a 22-year-old Dan Carter stopped traffic - quite literally - when his first campaign for Jockey was released. Since then the world-renowned number 10 has shot a 3D range, appeared on a billboard in Moscow for a global campaign and teamed up with wife, Honor Dillon for a Jockey men's and women's combo. When asked about the impact of injuries on both his game and modelling career, Carter put it quite simply: "They almost go hand in hand. As long as I can stay fit, I can keep standing there in my underwear." Fingers crossed on both counts.
RIHANNA: Riding on the coat-tails of her rather risque stage outfits and NSFW music videos, Rihanna cut a sultry figure in a series of black and white advertisements for Italian fashion house Emporio Armani. The 26-year-old also shot a jeans campaign for the brand, but unsurprisingly those shots rather paled in comparison to this one...
DITA VON TEESE: If anyone is qualified to design underwear it's burlesque dancer Dita von Teese, and who better to model the range than the woman herself. The 41-year-old (hard to believe, right?!) was inspired to create her own line after both her on-stage experience and previous work in a lingerie store gave her insight into what it takes for a woman to feel sexy.
With the All Blacks and Aussie model Nikki Phillips set to strut their stuff down the runway for Jockey at New Zealand Fashion Week this afternoon, we take a look at the hottest underwear ambassadors in the world.
From chiselled sport bodies, to former beauty queens and risque songstresses - these non-model celeb undie-selling moments are the best of the best.
