Sarah Jessica Parker's Sex and the City: The Movie wedding dress has sold out online.
The Vivienne Westwood gown - which Sarah's character Carrie Bradshaw wore in the 2008 blockbuster - sold out within hours of being made available on designer clothing site Netaporter.com.
Brides-to-be were battling it out to get their hands on a new knee length version of the famous frock which was launched on 31 March.
A source told Vogue.com: "The Carrie Wedding Dress came about from our AW07 Cave Girl Collection. Our wedding dress always captures the essence of the collection to its most extreme and is the highlight piece.
"In the film, Carrie was sent many choices, however, the dress designed by Vivienne Westwood obviously stood out amongst others and became her choice for her wedding. Sex and the City has definitely helped raised the popularity and visibility of this dress."
Despite becoming an online sensation, the cocktail style wedding dress - which costs £4,530 (NZ$11,592) - is still available from Vivienne Westwood directly and the full-length can be made to order from Westwood's Davies Street store, London.
Prices start at around £11,000 (NZ$28,124) depending on the fabric and will take three to six months to complete.
