Katie Holmes struggles to follow fashion trends.

The Hollywood beauty - who featured in UK Glamour magazine's top 10 best dressed women list this year - admits she relies on professional beauticians and stylists for inspiration when she wants to look glamorous.

She is quoted as saying: "I have a lot of help. I don't have to do my make-up or style. I am very lucky in that way. When I'm left to my own devices I look very different."

Katie, 30 - who raises two-year-old daughter Suri with husband Tom Cruise - is not the only A-list star who needs help to look great.

'Revolutionary Road' actress Kate Winslet recently said it can take hours to get her ready for a movie scene.

She said: "In films I might look glamorous, but I've been in hair and make-up for two hours, someone's been lighting a scene for three hours.

"With the nudity in 'The Reader', for example, even I was like, 'I look good.' And that was the lighting - it was a bit of body make-up."
