Talk show queen Tyra Banks is returning to her fashion roots with plans for a new reality show based in the world of fashion magazines.

The series, according to The Hollywood Reporter will be The Devil Wears Prada meets The Assistant.

The former supermodel will team up with producing partner Ken Mok to give ambitious assistants a chance to take on greater responsibilities at a fashion magazine.

In each episode, the contestants will take on an individual and a team challenge.

The team challenge will consist of creating a page for a mockup of the proposed magazine.

The losing team's page will be dumped, and one member will be eliminated, Apprentice-style, with the winning team's page included in "The Book."

The ultimate winner of the show will land a job in the fashion industry.

Mok says the show is about aspiring assistants looking to become assistant editors at a fashion magazine.

"At the same time they're trying to prove themselves as aspiring fashionistas, that they have a sense of style and savvyness, all the things to make it in the fashion world."
