Heidi Klum has advised women to invest in lots of jewellery for the coming season.
The German model is a huge fan of accessories, believing they are the easiest way to give an outfit an edge. She likes to look different to other people, and doesn't believe in sticking to fashion rules. She likes mixing and matching outfits, and wears winter items like boots in other seasons to change things up.
"Go with a lot of jewellery for summer - big necklaces and cuffs. You can also wear dresses with boots. I think you have to do the sweet and hard mix together," she explained.
"If I wear a really sweet dress, I wear a studded boot to do a little yin and yang. Mix and match prints. Things you normally think are wrong together, you should try to put together. If you look at haute couture, they do it all the time."
Heidi presents American design talent competition Project Runway, the eighth series of which is set to premiere in the US today. She loves making the show, saying it is something that never gets old.
The star is continually amazed by the calibre of designers it attracts, and laughed fans will be amazed by some of the outfits on display this time round.
"A different mixture of people," she replied to the USA Today newspaper, when asked what can be expected of the new season. "There are a few people that sometimes I'm more interested in what they're wearing than what they're designing!
"The show is going to be 90 minutes long, so people get 30 more minutes of what they already love. We kind of base the 90 minutes on the story that is naturally happening.
"We are a reality show and we tell the stories that just happen - we don't give them lines. Now we have that time to tell more stories about the designers, or when something goes wrong, we can show it."
