Kate Moss has displayed her famous figure for the new Pirelli calendar.

Behind the scenes photos show why the 37-year-old supermodel is still at the top of her game as she posed in a tiny grey bikini for the tyre company's annual almanac.

The images were taken by celebrity photographer Mario Sorrenti on the Mediterranean island of Corsica during the northern summer.

Moss, who dated Mario back when she was 17, displayed her toned legs and taut stomach in the racy images and showed that she does not need the benefits of airbrushing.

Other celebrities to fill the calendar include Milla Jovovich and Saskia de Brauw.

The 25-photo spread includes seven colour images and 18 black-and-white and highlights the beauty of the female form.

"It was a fantastic assignment with the emphasis really being placed on feminine beauty," an insider on the set said. "And the pictures are fabulous. The girls look really, really sexy."

Pirelli has been releasing its calendars since 1964 and have instructed top photographers to capture the world's most beautiful women for the exclusive images as a gift for royalty, celebrities and VIP customers.
