Kim Kardashian has thanked the "creative geniuses" behind her recent Vogue Italia shoot.

The reality TV star donned a short brunette wig and a series of risqué outfits for the photoshoot in Los Angeles yesterday.

Kardashian was joined by the magazine's contributing fashion editor Rushka Bergman and was captured by photographer Francesco Carrozzini.

The star then took to her Twitter page to thank the experts for their input.

"Amazing shoot today for Vogue Italia! Thank you @Rushka_Bergman & @akafrancesco for your creative genius!!! (sic)" she exclaimed on her personal page, with an accompanying picture.

Kardashian posed in a figure-hugging corseted leather dress and later in a gorgeous feathered gown.

She also donned a warrior-style outfit, which consisted of leather trousers and a kimono-style top.

In preparation for the shoot, Kardashian had a spray tan. The star posted a picture of the immediate after-effects of the product and laughed off criticism about her tangerine hue.

"The tannerexic mom has some serious competition!!! LOL," she wrote, before adding: "Relax that's just a spray tan!!! It washed off & I'm back to my normal tan self! But how crazy does it look after being on for 8 hours! (sic)."
