Kim Kardashian is facing backlash from an animal rights group for wearing snake skin.

The reality star was seen strutting around Paris yesterday in a pair of $5495 (NZ$6929) Christian Louboutin python boots, the sale of which is banned in her home state of California.

PETA spokesperson Wendy Wegner compared Kardashian to evil Disney character Cruella de Vil for her choice.

"They'd go well with a Dalmatian-fur coat, which is also illegal to sell in California and immoral to sell anywhere else," Wegner told RadarOnline.

Despite facing constant pleas from PETA, and being flour-bombed in March, Kardashian has continued to wear fur.
