Olivia Palmero is not a fan of "granny-style panties".

The reality TV star is renowned for her impeccable sense of style. Palermo, 26, said she never has an off-day with her look and believes the secret to looking on-trend is to always start with underwear.

"I'm not a fan of granny-style panties, but I love nude or black lace," she told Amuse magazine.

"Underwear is like clothes, you have to feel sexy and confident. I think Intimissimi's new leather collection, NERO, is really fashion-forward and taps into the leather trend that has stormed the catwalks for AW12."

Palermo, who has also made a successful career out of fashion blogging, said she applied the same attention to rules of grammar as rules of style.

"I'm really fortunate that I love everything I do, but I don't take it for granted. My fans especially: when I see them and they're so sweet and get so excited, that makes me love my job that much more," she said.

"Online and with social media I think it's important to not lose proper grammar... which tends to happen with LOLs etc."
