Best and Worst Dressed 1/2
The Worst – Kaley Cuoco’s Romona Keveza dress is completely the wrong length so it kind of looks like the Big Bang Theory star’s kneeling underneath it (on the runway it fell mid-calf). But it's the bowling ball back-combed hair that has us staring at the screen in wonder – is she wearing a wig pulled tautly over a protective helmet? That’s our only explanation.
Best and Worst Dressed 1/2
The Bad – Sigourney Weaver is one of our dream dinner party guests, but these black bin bags are doing nothing for her. The silk Lanvin dress is in fact backwards, as in, actually the wrong way 'round. It's supposed to have a deep V at the front, and if worn that way it would have looked less like she was smuggling some SAG awards out with her.
Best and Worst Dressed 1/2
The Bad – Alyssa Milano's like a badly stuffed Eighties lace sausage (and the casing's ripped).
Best and Worst Dressed 1/2
The Bad – Coco Austin borrowed the Ukrainian floor gymnastics team's London 2012 uniform for the Parker premiere in Las Vegas.
Best and Worst Dressed 1/2
The Bad – This Donna Karan flammable-looking gown looks like a wonky polyester Statue Of Liberty Sevens costume. Sofia Vergara's also rocking some pretty heavy duty ring bling.
Best and Worst Dressed 1/2
The Good - This Armani Prive East-Asian-style gown Cate Blanchett wore to the AACTA Awards in Sydney won't be everyone's cup-of-couture-tea, but at least it's different and brave (and, in fact, about four years' old - which is refreshing given A-list style is so new-season obsessed). Off topic, don't you think Cate does look a little like the Madame Tussauds version of herself here?
Best and Worst Dressed 1/2
The Good - Jessica Alba avoids looking too gothic in this Elie Saab couture gown thanks to emerald green nails, a fresh pink lip and a purple Roger Vivier bag. She even makes a dip dye look fresh (we're not sure on hubbie Cash's silver-capped shoes though).
Best and Worst Dressed 1/2
The Good - Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev completely pulls off this hot pink Elie Saab Spring 2013 gown thanks to a perfect fit and subtle styling (although we do acknowledge that almost any other woman - us included - would turn this hard-to-wear sporty style into a worst dressed).
Best and Worst Dressed 1/2
The Best - Sally Field is 66 and just a touch over 5ft and yet she knocked many a twenty-something glamazon off their lofty perch when she turned up to the SAG Awards in this purple J Mendel gown. Lincoln co-star Daniel Day-Lewis certainly looks impressed.
Best and Worst Dressed 1/2
The Good - Marion Cotillard had this Christian Dior pre-fall gown heavily altered for the SAG Awards (the skirt was originally bright peach) and we think it's j'adorbs. Her blunt bob is also our haircut of the season.

They have swathes of stylists and the world's top designers at their beck and call, but that doesn't mean celebrities always get it right.

Every week we bring you the good, the bad and the just plain ugly in A-list fashion choices.
