The week's best & worst dressed

The Best: Julianne Moore reminds us why she's the muse and we're the plebs in this Alexander McQueen dress. The colour totally works on her. Sometimes simple is best.

The Good: We're normally not a huge fan of this Fifties cut, but Mila Kunis manages to make it look less twee and more scorching in this Dolce & Gabbana gown. And how amazing are those purple Sutra earrings?

The Good: Freida Pinto is a medley of lovely metallics in Burberry Prorsum - and those v-line wedges are feet-flattering gold.

The Good: Drew Barrymore looks comfortable and chic in Max Mara pants and top. Draping normally bothers us, but we love it here (the candy Bvlgari bling certainly doesn't harm).

The Good & Bad: What a difference a dress makes. To the left, she's glowing and cape-chic in blue, and to the right she's like a too-milky latte. She may also be smuggling in illegal substances underneath this bunchy Christian Dior bodice.

The Worst: Jennifer Lopez in a metallic Preen dress with Brian Atwood Brigitte platform sandals: it's like all our disco nightmares come true. Maybe her twins dressed her?

The Bad: Selena Gomez blessed us with a double fail this week. First in a dress up box Gucci mermaid number, and then in a dangerous-shoulder Atelier Versace suit. It's the mesh back wrinkles that really move us.

The Bad: Sunglasses at night are an offence we can't forgive: Katy Perry channels Velma from Scooby Doo.

The Bad: Is 'Revenge' actress Christa B. Allen hiding an enormous growth underneath her Rafael Cennamo Couture dress? If she is, all power to her, she's concealed it well. If she's not, this is a fail.

The Bad: Emma Stone in Gucci. Sometimes risks pay off, these arm lanterns do not however.
