Oscars Best & Worst Dressed
The Good (just) - Kelly Rowland is a knock-out in a monochrome Donna Karan gown. Although her hair is completely overcooked and she's almost doing a Jolie-leg.
Best & Worst Dressed At The Oscars
The Good - Louise Roe's under-the-sea Monique Lhuillier number is sumptuous and just-daring-enough.
Oscars Best & Worst Dressed
The Good - Kristen Chenoweth goes dramatic in a Tony Ward couture dress. It's verging on ice-skater chic, but she's a Southern gal with loads of attitude, and we think she can pull it off.
Oscars Best & Worst Dressed
The Bad - 'Real Housewife' Brandi Glanville's just asking for a wardrobe malfunction.
Best & Worst Dressed At The Oscars
The Good - Jessica Chastain works "old-world Hollywood glam" in Armani Prive. We love the colour on her, the shape is subtle (not a leg-split in sight!) and the red lip is perfect. Jessica scored a Best Actress nomination for her work in Zero Dark Thirty.
Best & Worst Dressed At The Oscars
The Good (just) - Amy Adams wears a frothy Oscar de la Renta that she struggled with during the ceremony's standing ovations (a tricky skirt to negotiate in a tiny theatre seat). Despite it being a grand dress, the whole look is a touch anaemic.
Best & Worst Dressed At The Oscars
The Good - Reese Witherspoon arrives wearing a very her Louis Vuitton gown. Nice but not memorable.
Best & Worst Dressed At The Oscars
The Good - Actress Octavia Spencer arrives in a cappucino gown that is the perfect fit. It's a custom-made Tadashi Shoji.
Best & Worst Dressed At The Oscars
The Wild Card - Zoe Saldana arrives in a Alexis Mabille Couture gown. And, no matter how long we look at it, we can't decide if we love it or hate it.
Best & Worst Dressed At The Oscars
THE PRETTY: Jennifer Lawrence wears a crinkly white Dior Haute Couture gown. Once again she's gone for a frown-shaped strapless neckline, which I'm not a huge fan of, and I hate the backwards necklace. The dress has a certain elegance, yes, and the make-up is lovely, but this look is just too bridal.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - Actress Sally Field arrives wearing a gorgeous, long-sleeved red Valentino gown. The train's almost too much like what her character in Lincoln would wear, but she brought the colour, and we love her for it.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - Actress Amanda Seyfried arrives wearing a bespoke Alexander McQueen gown that took three months to make. It's elegant, although we're not entirely convinced by the neckline on her.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones wears a Zuhair Murad gown (he's a J-Lo favourite). She works it.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Mixed - Jennifer Hudson's sparkly blue Roberto Cavalli gown suits her aesthetic, the stringy hair extensions do not, however.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Bad - Actress Anne Hathaway's "headlights" were the Jolie-leg of this year's red carpet. This Prada gown's colour is wishy-washy and it just plain doesn't tit (sorry, we mean fit). Apparently it was a last minute decision, with the actress ditching her normal favourite, Valentino, for the biggest night of the year. This might explain why they hadn't checked out how it looks from all angles.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Best - Many won't like this galactic gown, but we think Naomi Watts rocks her Armani metallic dress thanks to impeccable styling. She's even working poofy hair well. Pro.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - 5'11" Charlize Theron shows the rest how it's done in Dior Haute Couture. She's even rocking her Miley-Cyrus-esque 'do. Check J-Hud sussing her out on the right.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Forgettable - We're pleased to see Jennifer Aniston wearing colour in this Valentino gown, and it's a good fit, although she does look like she's ripped off Jennifer Lawrence's Golden Globes look. Next!
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - George Clooney rocks a Giorgio Armani suit (although a haircut wouldn't go amiss) while Stacy Keibler has one of our favourite looks of the night in this heavy Naeem Khan gown.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - Sequins and metallics are taking over the red carpet. We like this L'Wren Scott look on Nicole Kidman, too. She looks more voluptuous and human than we've seen her in ages. Win.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - Adele goes back to black in Jenny Packham - we love the beading on this one. Here she is not telling off Jennifer Aniston.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - Samantha Barks from Les Mis looks fierce in a Valentino dress. We're pretty sure it has pockets, and if we were her we'd be packing some tape just in case.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Most Improved - Kristen Stewart's Reem Acra gown has lovely detail - and at least she's not wearing converses - but we have had enough of the wedding gowns!
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - Salma Hayek pulls off the Baroque neckline on this blue velvet Alexander McQueen gown with aplomb (and we even kind of like her hair foliage).
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - We adore Kerry Washington's coral Miu Miu gown, her hair and make-up does fall flat for us though.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - Jennifer Garner works bum ruffles in this plum Gucci gown. Husband Ben's also wearing Gucci - but someone needs to straighten up the man's bow tie, stat!
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Bad - Sci-fi shoulders were the order of the day for Halle Berry in this harsh Versace gown.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Good - Sandra Bullock works a cap sleeve in Elie Saab. It's sheer without being trashy.
Oscars 2013 - Sally Field
The Bad - We actually think Deborra-Lee Furness is gorgeous, but this pant-suit is unforgivable: she's even got the hoof-feet thing going on. Hugh looks dreamy in Tom Ford though.
Oscars 2013
The Bad - Renee Zellweger looks like she's been poured into this custom Carolina Herrera gown. Of all the metallic looks on the night, this was the worst. Did she even do her hair?
Oscars 2013
The Good - Best baby bump style goes to Jenna Dewan in this black lace gown. Hubbie Channing Tatum's in a Gucci suit, which looks good, but that man makes anything work.
Oscars 2013
The Good - Rocking a bright yellow Versace number at 75 - you have to give props to Jane Fonda. And while we officially hate the dress, we love it on her.
Oscars 2013
The Worst - This gun metal grey David Meister dress is doing nothing for Melissa McCarthy, but it's her finger-in-socket hair that lands her as our worst dressed. At no point, did anyone around her think to say, "shall we just tone down the volume a bit 'Liss?".
Oscars 2013
The Good - Chinese actress Fan Bingbing wears an origami-like Marchesa gown. It's fuschia and it's ginormous (can you imagine getting in a car with her?) but we love it. Ditch the clutch though, we say.
Oscars 2013
The Cheapest - Helen Hunt wore Swedish high street label H&M, and we have to respect her for wearing something that probably cost one-eigth of the price of the other gowns on the night, but this is just a touch wrinkly (nothing a steamer wouldn't fix).

Marchesa, McQueen, Dior or de la Renta?

These have been the debates raging between celebrities and their teams of stylists over the past few months, as no event is more important in defining whether a starlet is a style icon or a fashion victim than the Academy Awards.

So get set to see the glam, as we'll bring you the fashion moments as they happen, hot off the 150 metre long red carpet.

Who do you think looks good? Any surprises? Let us know in the comments below.
