Best & Worst Dressed: April 19
THE GOOD: Janice Man, a model and actress from Hong Kong, completely rocks this Stephane Rolland two-tone draped gown. The only slight switch-up I'd make would be gold rather than silver accessories.

THE GOOD: Hannah Simone's red lace Shoshanna dress is topped off with what may be the perfect ponytail (she makes a fringe look so effortless. When I tried a blunt fringe it was bobby-pin-o'clock by about 9am every day).

THE GOOD & BAD: What a difference a few days make - to the left, Rita Ora looks classy but still quirky enough in an ivory dress with a gold netted overlay by Chloe, and to the right she flunks in a Jeremy Scott tee and a JW Anderson skirt. My biggest issue with this is that a baggy top plopped over a pleated skirt like that is very unflattering. Also, I really really would love if Rita changed up her hair colour - it currently looks like it would make the sound of autumn leaves when touched.

THE MEH: Either JenAn's up the duff or she really wants tabloids to suspect that she is. This weird boxy Dior waistcoat is very unflattering. I can see the 1,568th 'Jen's Baby Joy' mag cover already. Quick, get on the picture wires and find a snap of her holding her belly now!

THE GOOD: Australian beauty queen turned TV personality Jesinta Campbell knocks it out the park in this gorgeous olive dress by Camilla & Marc. This look would have worked 20 years ago and will be in style in another 20 years - timeless.

THE BEST: Kate Hudson shows Liz Hurley how its done in an elegant black gown with classy statement jewellery and fun metallic nails. I really love the draping on this dress, and tummy draping can so often go wrong. PS: How not stoked does Kate look to be posing with Liz? PPS: Maybe Liz is using her outfit as part of an elaborate, a-clue-a-day-for-a-week to reveal she'll be in the next season of Dancing With The Stars?

THE GOOD & BAD: Sometimes when I'm struggling to find worst dressed candidates I just search for some key people - one of those is Kesha. She came up with the goods on the left, looking like a cross between a 60s bridesmaid and Big Ange from Mob Wives with a blonde wig on. But then to the right, she's not looking that bad at all. Sure, her makeup makes her look 2D, like one of those black and white sketches of a face you get at makeup stores to scribble lipstick on, but the Calzedonia jumpsuit actually really works on her.

THE BEST (the smart-casual edition): Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough shows us how to make sheer panels and short-shorts classy. I'm obsessed with her new red hair - it's like Christina Hendricks-meets-Gisele Bundchen. Rock'n'roll royalty showing us how it's done.
Best & Worst Dressed: April 19
THE BAD: Anna Friel's vintage Trager Delaney dress goes like this. First glance: ooh yellow, fun. Second glance: Weird length. Third glance: Is that high-neck mesh. Fourth glance: Is her strap velcroed together. Fifth glance: Why are her cheeks the colour of Cheetos?
Best & Worst Dressed: April 19
THE BAD: Ashley Benson, step away from best dressed of the week Riley Keough. I've owned a backpack, I own Chucks, I've owned a trucker cap, I've owned a pseudo-70s novelty T-shirt and I once even used pink hair mascara. Have any of these things been in wardrobe rotation since I turned 14? No (well, except for the Cons). Have I ever used all of these things together? NEVER.
Best & Worst Dressed: April 19
THE BAD: Ashley Tisdale wore a Maria Lucia Hohan dress to the premiere of the gazillionth Scary Movie (the one with both Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan in it - class). And while it's not slap me over the face awful, pantyhose panels down a person's side are never going to be a triumph.
Best & Worst Dressed: April 19
THE BAD: Elizabeth, you're my favourite Olsen! WHAT. HAS. HAPPENED? Sometimes I don't get around to ironing, too, but then I'm not a highly-paid celebrity standing on the red carpet after being dressed by personal assistants. This Chloe ensemble also features a tsunami of neck ruffles, while I'm inclined to think a trickle is enough.
Best & Worst Dressed: April 19
THE BAD: Katy Perry channels Brenda from 90210 with just a touch of barber shop quartet. These two things should probably never have met.
Best & Worst Dressed: April 19
THE BAD: I love this picture so much. It's like Kim K is the leader of the bad, well-groomed people in The Hunger Games universe and she's en route to a stadium to pick out which children are bad for ratings and should be hurried along.
Best & Worst Dressed: April 19
THE BAD: Leigh Lezark is one of those model-DJ-it-girls that can make anything fetch (like the Cara Delevigne of about five years ago) - but, really? If black adult diapers become a thing, I'm going underground.

They have swathes of stylists and the world's top designers at their beck and call, but that doesn't mean celebrities always get it right.

Every week we bring you the good, the bad and the just plain ugly in A-list fashion choices. This week, we haven't touched upon the looks at the MTV Movie Awards, as we have them all covered here (check them out if you haven't, there are some boomers).
