Best & worst of the fest: Day six

THE OVER-THE-TOP-BUT-KIND-OF-AMAZING: Former Victoria's Secret angel Selita Ebanks wore a totally decadent, highlighter yellow Cadena Gabriela gown, which from the back is a definite 10/10, it's full on, but c'mon, this is Cannes.

THE ZZZZZZ: Zoe Saldana has built herself quite the fash-forward reputation, but this Valentino gown, while pretty, isn't memorable. The brocade detailing is beautiful, but that dark grey colour really doesn't work on her.

THE IS-SHE-TAKING-THE-MICK-OUT-OF-EVA?: No, Rosario Dawson did not flash her goods while walking up the stairs, but I'd love to think she's mimicking Longoria with this 'whoops' pose. On the runway this Elie Saab gown was a muted gold, which I think would have worked a lot better on Rosario, also, her stylists have clearly pinned the neckline in at the last moment to curb her cleavage, but the rushed job ends up making the dress less flattering than it could have been.

THE EVERYTHING-BUT-THE-HAIR: Milla Jovovich manages to succesfully make me not hate a gown from the Chanel Spring 2013 Couture collection (seriously, Karl went loco with that range). She oozes cool and can pretty much wear anything, but the hair? I'm getting Jason London in Dazed & Confused flashbacks (a movie that Milla was actually in, remember, she met her husband on set at 16 and eloped? Scandal!).

THE BADLY-STYLED: I really love this Dior dress, but I'm calling scary hair. Marion Cotillard has a French edge to her style, but this helmet Sixties prom 'do is too rigid. And does she always have to wear a mullet gown?

THE DETAILED: Aishwarya Rai's second appearance was far better than her first. The embroidery on this Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla traditional Indian gown is breathtaking, and while it's overall a very heavy piece, the summery colours give it a lift.

Angels making statements, more flashing and a Bollywood diva done good: all the looks from day six of Cannes.

Check out all the looks from the rest of the fest so far: Day two (Freida - swoon); Day three (Doutzen's cleavage was the talking-point that day) and Days four and five (when J-Law wore her beloved Dior, snore).
