Bella Hadid denies sibling rivalry with sister Gigi
Bella Hadid has denied any competitive rivalry between herself and older sister Gigi Hadid.
The American model sisters are amongst the hottest names in fashion right now, with each nabbing gigs walking for the likes of Versace, Chanel and Victoria's Secret.
Though the fashion stars might be vying for the same jobs on occasion, Hadid is adamant there isn't any sibling rivalry between them.
"Gigi is my comfort blanket," she told Britain's Grazia magazine. "We cheer each other on and we're not competitive. She's an incredible person and I'm lucky to have her as my sister."
And the 20-year-old really respects the way Gigi deals with public criticism, whether it's to do with her work or physique. In particular, Hadid admires how she manages to turn negative feedback into something positive, without becoming "really emotional".
"I think she just tries to keep grounded and realises that it's just people on the outside talking. Everybody around her loves her and knows who she is. Plus, she always ends up succeeding from those things anyway," she said.
Hadid, who recently won an opportunity to front a campaign for Nike and is designing a fashion range for Chrome Hearts, adds that she gets "chills" thinking about everything she accomplished in 2016.
But if she feels overwhelmed at any time, the brunette beauty doesn't hesitate to consult her fellow Victoria's Secret models for advice.
"If I ever feel nervous on the runway, I just go up to Kendall (Jenner) or Joan (Smalls) or Lily (Aldridge) or my sister and bring myself back. We've all been friends before this even happened to any of us. They're amazing," she said.
