Beyonce, 31, posted a flurry of Blue Ivy-related pics on her rather-fabulous Tumblr over the weekend, showing off the 17-month-old princess of hip hop's crown, designer dress and money-can't-buy Tom Ford baby heels.

I can feel Suri's rage from here.

The doting mum - who continues to deny ongoing rumours that baby number two is on the way - modelled the baby heels herself to show just how tiny they are (I'm imagining/hoping the toddler doesn't actually walk in them? Otherwise she'd have these feet before she could do her times tables.)

The pink and velvet kitten heels were made especially for Blue Ivy, naturally, but Miss Carter isn't the first famous baby to have been gifted a pair.

Fashion it-girl Julia Restoin Roitfeld (her mum's Carine Roitfield) admitted she had a pair for her less-than-a-year old daughter Romy, too.

"Tom Ford gave me high heels for the baby," she told the New York Post in May. "They're a little kitten heel with a velvet rope that you tie. It's like a collection piece. I have to put it on the bookshelf, framed."

"I got leather diaper pants from Alexander Wang," Roitfeld added. Leather? The stench is unthinkable.

Speaking of famous babies, I imagine the new royal baby will be sent a pair of these heels too (if the rumours that the baby's to be a she are true) - maybe in regal purple.

Although somehow I don't think we'll be seeing the royal-to-be sporting them while in great-grandma's arms on the Buckingham Palace balcony. It'll be sensible crochet booties all the way.
