UP ALL NIGHT: Rihanna let the world know that she had rocked up to the Chanel show without getting a wink of sleep the night before.

Rihanna
SOS: Rihanna's cardigan-only outfit was in major wardrbobe-malfunction territory.

Rihanna turned up the heat at Chanel's Haute Couture Fall-Winter show in Paris on Tuesday by wearing a cardigan and little else.

The 25-year-old accessorised the half-open, wardrobe-malfunction-ready full-length cardigan with pearls, a Chanel purse, cap-toe Chanel pumps and soft, messy waves.

We're pretty sure that when Coco Chanel uttered her now-famous fashion advice, "when accessorising, always take off the last thing you've put on," she didn't mean a woman's bra, or in fact entire outfit.

That said, Rihanna somehow managed to make the risky look work, despite having had no sleep the night before.

The star, whose shocking karaoke skills have gone viral this week, tweeted that she came to the show after a full night of partying: "Went straight to the Chanel Couture show early this morning with NO SLEEP!!! It was so worth it!!"

While her hard-partying lifestyle is undeniably part of her brand, her fans in Switzerland weren't too pleased by it when she was 90 minutes late for a concert there on Saturday, and then two hours late for a show on Sunday: and all after partying hard the nights before both shows, and sharing snaps of her nights out on her Instagram
